The gardens enchant with a rich variety of moods. As you stroll, new captivating spots continuously unfold, impressing with their natural charm – a place to marvel, explore, and linger. The sculptures installed throughout the garden engage in a lively dialogue with the surrounding nature. The design follows the concept of the Picturesque – a beauty ever-changing through the play of light, seasons, and perspectives.

No problem! The sculpture garden reveals its own special magic in the rain. Wet leaves shimmer, silence deepens — and the art feels even more striking. Whether strolling or exploring the maze, even grey days inspire wonder. If your visit gets too wet, we’ll gladly extend your ticket.

The sculpture garden invites you on a stroll through artfully designed spaces that blend seamlessly with the surrounding nature, offering a unique way to experience art. Each year, rotating works by national and international artists open new perspectives, encouraging visitors to discover art in an open, natural setting. Some sculptures remain permanently, now an integral part of the garden’s character.
Begin your exploration — the maze excites with high hedges, secret routes, and surprising nooks that invite you to marvel, search, and discover. Stay curious, and you’ll find your way out — maybe with a few fun detours. In the ground labyrinth, there are no dead ends. A single winding path leads to the center — yet sometimes you think you’ve arrived, only to find yourself back at the beginning.
Born in 2006 as a living sculpture, the garden at Kränzelhof has been continuously evolving ever since. Inspired by the philosophy of English landscape gardens, it follows no rigid rules. Instead of symmetry and control, it embraces naturalness, simplicity, and change.
The garden is divided into sections reflecting various themes of life: trust, emotion, courage, heart and love, expression, intuition, and awareness. These areas create spaces for reflection and personal discovery. Thus, the garden is not a place to be explained, but one to be experienced — revealing itself anew with every visit.
1 April – 8 November 2026: On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the gardens, the 2026 annual exhibition is dedicated to a central and multifaceted theme: WOMEN.
The exhibition brings together sculptures and plastic works that explore the female body and its expressive power – addressing themes such as posture, identity, vulnerability, strength, and devotion. This gives rise to diverse perspectives and artistic approaches that understand the female body not only as a form, but as a bearer of emotion, history, and transformation.
